Formed in Hamilton, Ontario in 1985, the band started with seven members – a threepiece rhythm section and four horns. The original mandate was to cover the Rhythm & Blues and Soul music of the 1960s, but as the band matured, more complex material, such as songs by Blood, Sweat & Tears and Tower of Power, was added to the repertoire. By the early 90s, the song list covered everything from Mustang Sally to Rod Stewart. At that time, a keyboard player was added and the new eight member group now represented over 200 years of musical talent and experience.
