Mike, a resident of Dundas, Ontario performs solo with 6 & 12 string acoustic guitars, harmonicas and arrives self contained with his own production and lighting. The diversity in Mikes repertoire is remarkable having a song list of over 800, Mike readily caters to his audience requests. Mike Woods sings cover songs faithfully and performs hits from the Beatles, to Green Day and everything in between. Comical, serious, thought provoking, sometimes sad and descriptive are a few words that come to mind about Mike’s original material.
When not performing, writing or in the studio, Mike will endevour to perform anywhere anyplace such as the National Anthem at the Skydome for the Toronto Blue Jays game.
Mikes involvement with the Canadian Cancer Society and the Cancer Assistance Program is extensive. Mike also continues to take time to speak at public schools and juvenile centers enlightening kids on the inside scoupe of the music Industry in Canada.
